Penguins on the Plains

Painted Penguins with a Purpose

All 13 three-foot penguins have now been beautifully hand-painted by talented local artists, each one a unique celebration of art, nature, and conservation. Now, we’re looking for sponsors to help bring this project to life and give these penguins their forever homes.

Your sponsorship directly contributes to the Penguin & Otter Expansion Project, helping us create an even more interactive and inspiring experience for guests at Tanganyika Wildlife Park.

Sponsor a Penguin – Bring Art and Conservation to Life!

Thirteen beautifully painted penguin sculptures are ready to make a splash at Tanganyika Wildlife Park! Each penguin has been uniquely designed by a local artist, transforming these sculptures into one-of-a-kind works of art that celebrate creativity and wildlife conservation.

Now, we’re inviting businesses, families, and community members to sponsor one of the remaining 11 penguins before our Twilight Tour event on June 13, 2026. Your sponsorship directly supports Tanganyika Wildlife Foundation’s mission to connect people with animals and fund critical conservation efforts.

How Sponsorship Works
From now until Twilight Tour, we’re seeking sponsors to give these penguins their forever homes:
  • 🐧 $3,000 Sponsorship — Your penguin remains on display at Tanganyika Wildlife Park for guests to enjoy year-round.
  • 🐧 $5,000 Sponsorship — Your penguin will join you after the Twilight Tour event to display at your business, organization, or home!

Each sponsor will receive recognition on the Foundation’s website. Additional recognition and plans for the penguins are still being finalized. Reach out to us today to discuss sponsoring a Penguin!
After the Twilight Tour event, the penguins will waddle out into the community for a limited-time Penguin Scavenger Hunt, allowing visitors to spot them across town and learn about their sponsors and artists. Once the scavenger hunt wraps up, penguins will return home — either to Tanganyika Wildlife Park or their sponsoring families and businesses.

This fun and interactive art installation will not only brighten the community but also raise awareness and funds for animal care, education, and conservation initiatives.
